Sadly, we did not place in the top three so the 7th grade season has ended.

JUNIOR HIGH ACADEMICS

Competing in OJABA

Oklahoma Junior Academic Bowl Association

Academic Bowl is a question-and-answer competition between two teams of four players each.  A game consists of four quarters: two 20-question toss-up quarters (1st and 3rd quarters) and two 10-question 60-second quarters (2nd and 4th). All questions answered correctly are worth 10 points. An electronic buzz-in system with a timer is used.

Junior High/Middle School Scholastic Meets

Scholastic Meets are competitions where students take paper-pencil, multiple choice tests.  The tests are in mathematics, language arts, current events, science, social studies and humanities.  Students are competing individually against all other students and schools are competing for the most total points.  The tests are restricted in time and are challenging.

Scholastic Meets we will be attending this year:     

NOVEMBER 1 - Fairview (includes 6th,7th 8th grades)

February 7 @4:00PM - Chisholm (includes 5th,6th,7th 8th grades)

Tournament of Champions is the state level competition for the students who medaled (1st,2nd or 3rd ) at one of the above competitions. Wyatt Fuxa, Braden Heisler, Joseph Luckett, Wyatt Brooks and Dennis Lynch will be attending this year!
