I graduated from Enid High School with Honors. I then went to college at Dallas Christian University. After attending school there for a year, I transferred to Phillips University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I then began teaching at Waukomis Elementary in the Sixth grade classroom. I then moved to the Middle School and taught Reading, Science, and History. After teaching in the Middle School, I moved to the High School. In the High School I taught Keyboarding, Intro to Computers, Advanced Computers, and Study Skills. The next move was back to the Elementary, where I taught Fourth grade. During this period of time I decided to go back to school and earn my Masters Degree in Administration. I received this honor from North Western Oklahoma State University. Upon receiving this degree, I was fortunate to obtain a Principals position in the the most outstanding school around WES. Finally I have landed the Superintendent position for WPS, where I currently reside. During all of this time, I have been able to coach many sports at various levels. My next goal is to attend Oklahoma State University (GO POKES) to earn my Doctorate in Education.
God has blessed me with an AWESOME family, my BEAUTIFUL wife Desiree, and four WONDERFUL children. My children are: my princess Matoaka "Mattie", my oldest son "the courageous" Gage, my middle son "Crazy Guy" Jayston, and my youngest son "Turkey" Tryson. These people are my world. If you have not had a chance to meet my family, you are missing out!
Please feel free to come and talk with me anytime, my door is always open. Also you can call me or email me anytime. The students at Waukomis are my first and foremost responsibility, and every decision I make at the school has their best interest in mind. One of my goals is to make a difference in student lives. It is to also to make a differnece in the community through our school and the people within it.
