The High School band traveled to State Band Competition on April 4th. They received straight 1’s and also received the Sweepstakes Award. The Sweepstakes Award is only given to bands who received straight 1’s the whole school year, in both marching band and concert band. This is their 4th year getting straight 1’s and receiving the Sweepstakes award. They did so well this year, and I am glad that this is their 4th year winning the Sweepstakes award! Thank you to the high school band and band director Mr. Newman for another amazing year!
