Elementary awards assembly will be held on May 15 in the gym.

Little Olympics will be this Friday, May 2 for PreK-4th grades. We will get it going that morning as soon as we can. We will have a concession and all items will be $1. See you there!

Regional softball bracket

Hello Parents, National Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9 and we are making a special effort this year to express appreciation for our teachers and staff. We are putting on a fun appreciation week and we have a few ways we would love for parents to get involved: 1. We are trying to collect short, heartfelt notes for all our teachers, and we would like as many as possible. If you would like to create a short message of appreciation to a teacher, write it on an open card or note paper, and turn them in. We are going to tape these to the lobby wall so the teachers may know and see how much everyone appreciates their efforts. You may sign it with your name or with Anonymous if you prefer. 2. During the week of May 5-9, our school administration is doing a Teacher Appreciation game with prizes and treats each day. We have creative ideas and special privileges for many of the prizes, but we also need gift cards. If you would like to donate one or two, in any amount, please drop them off at the office by May 2nd or email any e-gift cards to heatherhusted@waukomis.k12.ok.us . (These are cards we will use as prizes for the game, so please don’t let this take away from anything you might normally do for your individual teachers.) Thank you, everyone, for helping us make this a special Teacher Appreciation Week!

Congratulations to our Junior High track teams. The girls were the champions while the boys were runners-up at the Waynoka track meet today. Amazing job by both teams.
