We would like to send a big thank you to Waukomis Community Church and everyone that helped out Saturday for the free school supplies! It is greatly appreciated!

Meet the Teacher Night for the elementary will be Thursday, August 8th from 5:00-7:00. Students can bring their school supplies. We will have a bus parked in front of the elementary and a photo prop if you would like to take pictures of your kids. Mr. Husted will have a meeting in the gym immediately following concerning legislative and school updates.


Parents don't forget sports physicals will be this Friday, August 2nd in the High School beginning at 8:00. You can access all physical forms here!

Don't forget this Saturday,August 3rd free school supplies will be handed out to all Waukomis students(elementary,JH,and HS) at Waukomis Community Church from 10:00-12:00.

7th-12th grade students may come pick their classes on August 1st from 8:00 AM -12:00 PM in the high school. If your child is not available during this time please contact the school for other arrangements. Parents must fill out all online enrollment before students can pick their classes.

Open gym information for this week!
We will have open gym on Monday from 11:00-1:00 and we will have our “under the lights” open gym at the tennis courts on Thursday from 8:30-10:00. Everyone is welcome to come out. Bring a lawn chair. If some could bring hot dogs, buns, and little bags of chips to the open gym on Monday to help donate for “under the lights”it would be greatly appreciated!

Open gym this week on Thursday from 11:00-1:00 for all (boys and girls)incoming 5th-12th grade basketball players. I will drive a bus around town at 10:45 to pick up any kids that need a ride. I'll drive down Euclid, Cleveland, Cherokee, Plainview and Main. I will also drive out to Morris Acres. Have kids standing out at the curb and I will pick them up!

Go support our cheerleaders at Harbor Freight and get your car washed. It's going on right now until 2:00!


School is right around the corner and we would like to introduce our new staff members, and some returning staff in new positions!
