Parents/Guardians: We've been informed that tomorrow around pickup time there will be a graveside service at the cemetery in Waukomis. We ask for your patience as it could get quite congested especially on Wood Road. We will do our best to get your child/children to you as soon as possible while being as respectful as we possibly can. If we receive further information we will pass that on to you.
School board applications for vacant seat #1 will be accepted until the end of the school day this Friday, August 23. Applications can be picked up in the elementary office. Please reach out to Mr. Husted if you have any questions.

Pickup Information for Elementary
5th graders may be picked up over at the gym since they have band last hour.
A student that wants to walk over to the HS to ride home with a sibling is considered a walker and must go out with walkers and bike riders.
Parents do not come into the school and get their child during pickup. If you choose to park your vehicle and wait for their child until after pickup is completed that’s fine.
Our goal is to have no parents/students walking in the parking lot during pickup. Especially walking through the pickup line.

The Waukomis Board of Education seat #1 is currently vacant. This will be a two year term that will be up for re-election in 2026. Information on qualifications and a short application is available at the Elementary Office. Application must be turned into the Superintendent's office no later than Friday, August 23rd.
