OSSAA SUMMERTIME DEAD PERIOD This summer's Dead Week Period Dates: July 2nd, 2022 - July 10th. 2022 The dead period will occur during the week in July that includes the 4th of July each year. The dead period will be 9 days in length and begin the weekend preceding the 4th of July and end the weekend following or including the 4th of July. Secondary-level students enrolled or pre -enrolled students at a member school may not use any member school’s athletic facilities during the dead period in connection with any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA. Member school coaches, assistant coaches, and sponsors may not have any contact with secondary-level enrolled or pre-enrolled students in that member school in any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA for the purpose of coaching, training or instructing.

The JH boys basketball scrimmage in Waukomis tomorrow against Drummond and Enid has been cancelled. Enid does not have enough players.

Elementary enrollment will be July 7th in the elementary all purpose room from 8:00-12:00. New students and transfer students will enroll from 1:00-3:00.

Football camp was a huge success! Thank you to all the coaches and volunteers for making it happen!

We had to move football camp inside due to the weather but we’re making it work!

Little Chiefs football camp is tomorrow and Thursday. If the field is too wet or there are storms, we will still have camp in the dome. We will have lots of fun and hope everyone going into grades 1-8 can attend.

Summer pride will begin on May 31st. This is for boys in grades 7-12th and will be Monday-Thursday after this week. Players can pick 1 of the time slots to lift. 6:30 am or 7:30 am.

Concurrent students need to submit your paid receipt from NOC for the spring semester by June 1st. Please bring documentation to the Superintendents office. Contact Mrs. Warnock for questions.

Due to weather, Little Chief football camp has been moved to June 1st and 2nd. Registration will be on the 1st at 8:30 am.

We had a great turnout for our softball camp! Thank you to the coaches and volunteers for making it happen!

Are you kids already eating you out of the house? Has the grocery bill doubled since the last day of school? Well we’ve got you covered. Once again WPS will have the summer food service program. Breakfast and lunch served Mondays-Thursdays for all children under the age of 18. Kids must live in the district and it’s FREE!!!! You read that right!! It’s FREE! Breakfast is served from 8:00-8:30 and lunch from 11:45-12:30. Please enter and exit the north glass doors of the cafeteria.
